YOU CAN TELL FROM THE TWISTED JUNIPER

Joelli and Darrell's San Diego vacation is detoured because of intense monsoons and they get trapped in the middle of Sedona, AZ. Amongst vortexes, strangers, and strange beings, Joelli finds herself on a desert quest that makes her question what's right in front of her.

BLUE FIRE BURNS THE HOTTEST

“They be ghosts up in this bitch…”
The mortal fear must be running high in the veins... Two men—two rivals—who, after holding out for years, finally come to a now abandoned boxing ring that their fathers, and their fathers' fathers, and so on and so forth fought in to fight for their lives and to claim themselves as the "greatest." In the midst of jabs and hooks, and crosses and uppercuts, they both find themselves, whether consciously or unconsciously, figuring out who they are in relation to higher power.

LETICHE
AND THE [WONDROUS] PURSUIT OF ELVIS

New York City mother-daughter duo, Imara and Kal, are on a swamp tour on their New Orleans vacation. They find themselves led by a white captain on an all-Black boat of tourists. What are the odds?! In the murkiness of their 90-minute tour, Kal finds herself itching and her psyche morphing in a place full of contradictions and turns to the alligators and their leader—the mighty alligator, Elvis—for some clarity.

WALK-BIKE-SKATE-A-THON

Three, ragtag packs of kids from Far Roc in Kindergarten, 5th grade, and 8th grade get their scooters, and bikes and sneakers and helmets and elbow pads and knee pads ready for the school- year's coveted event—The Annual Walk-Bike-Skate-a-Thon. But, how can these poor lil kids stay safe from stranger danger (of all kinds) as they grow in shifting parameters and obstacle courses?

VÈTIJ, OR NO MADNESS

When Nile surprises her younger siblings Omar and Chris with a weekend getaway to see their favorite rapper, plans change when Daddy's Rich Kids Quincy, Leah, Adrian, and Hattie invite them into their daddy's hotel's penthouse suite during an intruder lockdown. Between hangovers, and getting high, and taking bubble baths, and watching the sunrise, Nile tries her best to keep her siblinghood held together as best she can.

There’s Johnson #1’s feast at 2pm and Johnson #2’s daily prayer at 7am. There’s Johnson #1’s hour-long vomit and there’s Johnson #2’s hour-long jog. There’s Johnson #1’s 5 hours of restless sleep and there’s Johnson #2’s 3 hours of contaminated brainspace. deadbodydeadbodydeadbody is an invitation to voyeur into two unbeknownst rivals as they see sunrise and sunset… and sunrise and sunset… and sunrise and sunset… deadbodydeadbodydeadbody is the 72 hours before the start of the boxing match of the century, the prequel to the generational death match that is Blue Fire Burns the Hottest. Can preparation ever be on point?

Celina plans a cookout in her new neighborhood of St. Albans and everyone and their mom is invited. She's making beef burgers. Turkey burgers. Beyond burgers. Salmon burgers. Portobello mushroom burgers. Black bean burgers-you name it. But, what happens when her grill starts to send smoke signals throughout the neighborhood and summons an unlikely neighbor?

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

A very pregnant mother as she drifts off to sleep. She enters a dreamspace of everything she wants and more for her son, Max. Until it no longer is. Where the Wild Things Are revisits Maurice Sendak's classic children's book of the same name and thrusts it into conversation with Black motherhood, Black adolescence, and consumption of one's culture without the consequences of owning their identity.

THE WATER RUMBLES IN LIMBO TIME

It's Girls' Night... In!... virtually! Best friends Peri and Asher hestiantly agree to a video call with Alex and Erin, who want updates on everyone's global pandemic goals. But, when Peri suggests she's been sitting in stillness, it is suddenly disrupted. This is a play about what happens when we glitch internally and the process of accepting it.

TECHNO PAPER PLANES

Thousands of miles apart, Kaimani, a teen in the foster care system and Anita, a dying cancer patient, participate in a virtual Adopt-A-Grandparent program. Through learning and unlearning each other in the midst of searching for a sense of belonging, they journey towards building an unlikely friendship that tests their generational gap.
